A Unique Learning Path for Homeschoolers

Ruby Beach Academy (RBA) offers a unique educational experience for homeschooled children, providing a non-traditional learning environment where their individual needs are met. Recognizing that many students thrive in learning environments different from the traditional public-school classroom, Ruby Beach Academy tailors instruction to each learner's specific requirements, fostering their growth. This personalized approach is achieved through specialized instruction, small class sizes with a 1:5 instructor-to-learner ratio, and the support of professionals such as Registered Behavior Technicians and other dedicated staff.

Primary Programs:

Our Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten-level learners will participate in direct instruction with introduction of homeschool academic curriculums through our Primary Program. Those that are ready for a stronger academic focus will be introduced to IXL, All About Reading Pre-Reading Program and Math-U-See Primer Level instruction. Please note: Enrollment is limited and priority is given to established Ruby Beach ABA clients and siblings of Paper Airplane clients Homeschool Support students.

Homeschool Support Programs

As an extension of clinical services, Ruby Beach Behavioral Pediatrics offers part-time/full-time homeschool tutoring, support, and enrichment services. Through this program, we provide non-clinical ABA services focused on independent functioning and time management, social skills, mindfulness, task compliance, and basic academic support. These are stand-alone services but may be combined with more traditional ABA services typically covered by insurance.

Let's Get Started:

How do I Disenroll My Child from Duval County Public Schools?

The first step is meeting with your current school to let them know you are withdrawing your child. This usually involves completing a withdrawal form, notifying the school and following any specific procedures outlined by the district.
